A new adventure is soon to be embarked upon ...Chile. It's a country that my wife, Clare and I have always wanted to travel to, well now we are. We shall soon be leaving to fly from Heathrow to Madrid with Iberia and then to Santiago with Lan the Chilean airline. All things being well we will be in Santiago on the morning of the 1st Feb 2009 to start our next exciting trip.
Our itinerary takes in Santiago, the Atacama Desert, the Chilean Lake District and Patagonia. There are many other stops along the way and some opportunities to visit some unique islands, such as Chiloe. So all in all it will be a fascinating trip.
Our friend George, from New York, is travelling with us again, so many pictures will undoubtedly be taken! Also joining us will be Curious George - our friend never goes anywhere without him! So watch our for Curious George he will make an appearance some time during our adventure!!!
I will try and keep you posted as we make our way through the country - Internet connections permitting. It promises to be a memorable trip for us all - including Curious George as he has never been to Chile either!
