I have not long returned from an excellent 3 week trip to China. The trip was organised by Emperor Tours, a local firm to me and was both extensive and excellent value for money.
The itinerary included, Beijing, Xian, Chengdu, Kunming, Dali, Lijiang,Guilin, Yangshuo, Longsheng and Hong Kong.
If you like rest and relaxation, then this trip is definitely not for you! However if you crave exotic locations, historical sites, beautiful scenery and marvelous local cuisine, then this is certainly recommended.
Our trip started with a flight with BA from the new Terminal 5. I was very impressed, both with the building and the efficient service from everyone. We sped through the formalities and enjoyed an excellent meal prior to boarding our flight to Beijing.
